Our innovative iDBT (Internet Delivered Dialectical Behavior Therapy) program is designed to offer comprehensive and specialized support for individuals grappling with intense mental health challenges.

 

This program is particularly tailored for those facing struggles such as (but not limited to) Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Disordered Eating, Addiction, Anxiety, Chronic Suicidal Thoughts / Attempts, and Self-Harm.

 

The four key areas of DBT – mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness – providing you with a well-rounded therapeutic experience.

 

As the first of its kind in our province, our iDBT program integrates the traditional core principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy with the convenience and accessibility of online delivery.

Initial Assessment

Our initial assessment is a thorough exploration of your unique mental health landscape.

 

It involves a detailed evaluation of your psychological history, current symptoms, and specific struggles such as trauma, BPD, anxiety, suicidal thoughts or attempts, and self-harm.

 

This session sets the foundation for your tailored DBT treatment plan, ensuring that your journey is aligned with your individual needs and mental health goals.

Weekly Session

Engage in regular, one-on-one therapy sessions conducted online by our experienced DBT therapists.

 

Each session is focused on addressing and managing your specific mental health challenges.

 

Through a collaborative approach, you'll learn to navigate emotional distress, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop effective coping strategies, all within a safe and supportive virtual environment.

Weekly Group

Our skills training group provides you with the essential tools and techniques of DBT.

 

Focusing on core modules like mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, this training empowers you to build resilience and manage your emotions more effectively.

 

The skills are taught in a structured, easy-to-understand format, enabling you to apply them practically in your daily life.

Distress Coaching

In moments of acute distress or when facing challenging situations, our "in-the-moment" coaching message service offers support within 24 business hours.

 

This component of our program provides you with direct access to a DBT therapist for guidance, helping you to apply DBT skills in real-time.
